Segun Demuren obtained a BSc. in Information Systems from Marist College Poughkeepsie, New York. Upon graduation, he began his professional career with Alliance Bernstein, a leading investment management and research firm on Wall Street. Upon returning to Nigeria, he set up and managed Evergreen Apple Mining, with plant operations in Gypsum and Tantalite. He also founded Bluesoft, a company with technology services in the areas of Project Management, Software Design, Strategy Management and Application Development Services. Upon returning to Nigeria, Segun set up and managed Evergreen Apple Mining and Bluesoft Co. He later became the Managing Director/ CEO of Evergreen Apple Nigeria (EAN) Limited the owners and operators of the first FBO and aircraft maintenance facility in Lagos, Nigeria, a position he has held since 2009. Segun oversaw the construction and start-up of the company which has birthed the following subsidiaries: EAN Aviation Limited, EAN Catering Limited and Esperanza Air Services Limited. Segun is currently the Managing Director/CEO of EAN Aviation Limited. He is also the convener of the Nigerian Business Aviation Conference, a yearly event that brings together business aviation stakeholders to discuss pertinent issues in the industry. The conference started in 2013. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School and IATA Advanced Management Program in Air Transport, Nanyang, Singapore Segment.
