Capt. Nogie Meggison is a Nigerian from Delta State. He started his early education at St Louis Primary School in Kano, and then had his High school education at Edo College, Benin City, Edo State. He began his aviation education at the prestigious Ross School of Aviation in Oklahoma, USA where he obtained his Commercial Pilot License; he later obtained his FAA Airline Transport License. He then proceeded to the United Airline Training centre, Denver, USA for his Flight Engineer License and Type rating. He received further training from Donnier, Germany; Air Lingus, Ireland; UPS, Kentucky, USA and Airline Training Institute in California, USA. He later proceeded to the University of Southern California for his basic and Advance Aviation Management course.
Capt. Nogie Meggison is a veteran pilot with 30 years experience in the Aviation Industry having been a flying pilot with international and domestic airlines before venturing into Trading and then aviation management. His early aviation career began at as a pilot with Okada Airlines, Nigeria; Executive Airline Services, Stanstead and then later Flash Airlines. TRADING. Capt. Meggison is also a successful businessman, having established Trade Wings in 1987 from a humble start-up. He thereafter led the firm to phenomenal heights, employing over 300 employees and with branches in 14 states across Nigeria. Trade Wings was the sole representative of over 16 multinational future 500 companies within the African region which included United Biscuits (McVities Biscuits), Danone Group (Evian Water), AB Mauri (Mauripan yeast) to mention a few. His aggressive marketing skills and drive for customer satisfaction, ensured that Trade Wings Ltd enjoyed prominence and phenomenal success in the formal and informal goods/commodities market.
Capt. Nogie Meggison yet cherished his passion for the aviation profession. This spurred him to establish Wings Aviation (now Jedidiah Air Ltd) in 2001. He is also the Chairman, Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON).
