Achuzie Ezenagu is a graduate of London Metropolitan University, London, UK, where he obtained a BA Honours Degree in Modern History.
Upon graduation he worked administratively at the Head office of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Toronto, Canada where he started his career as an investment advisor. After working for five years at CIBC he was head hunted by the then Standard Trust Bank Plc, later to become UBA Plc, where he joined in 2002. He worked as a Special Assistant to one of the senior executives for 11 years. During his career at UBA Plc
Achuzie was appointed as the Chairman of the STB/UBA Merger Branding Committee in 2005. He went on to lead the Aircraft Acquisition team of the bank and was appointed as the CEO of Leo Aviation (a subsidiary of UBA Plc) in 2007. He held that position until 2011 when he left to set up Toucan Aviation, based in Lagos, and remains well respected and connected in the banking and aviation sectors of Nigeria. Achuzie is happily married to Ginika. They have twins named Khosi and Kimo.
